If you want a classroom setting, a defined curriculum and an internal certificate, a language centre is a sound choice.
In a group class of ten, a one-hour lesson gives each student only a few minutes of actual speaking. In a one-on-one lesson, almost the whole hour is yours. Fluenti is an independent private tutoring practice, not a large language centre. Lessons are one-on-one with a native American tutor, which gives you far more speaking time than a group class. Fluenti is not affiliated with any language centre.
For an internationally recognized qualification, the route is an external exam such as IELTS, TOEFL or the Duolingo English Test, and Fluenti coaches you for those with mock tests and detailed feedback. Language centres often also offer their own internal certificates of attendance or level.
